• You already knew that Wildfang was opening a second shop in the West End, in the former Martinotti's space, but did you know that they're teaming up with White Owl on an in-store bar that will serve canned boozes? Now you know. You can plan on drunk shopping there as soon as early next month.

Tanner Goods got their start with leather, but they've gradually become a resource for a variety of simple, solid products with clean, sensible designs. The latest thing they've added to the fold are hardwood wall frames, which they're debuting alongside a complimenting series of prints by Matt Sundstrom.

• The awesome, semi-private Textile Hive textile library is hosting a lecture called "Deceptive Textiles: Camouflage and the Velvetloom" by Barbara Setsu Pickett:

Presenting historical camouflage textiles from painted/printed patterns that mimicked the terrains in Northern Europe to today’s digital patterning and e-fabrics. Textiles that constantly change their appearance to match their surroundings, shifting from daylight to night, from season to season and becoming the super stealth fabrics of science fiction.

It's free, but one must register.
